Coffee catch up.

Mindful Mates Community Coffee Catch Ups are relaxed, welcoming meet-ups designed to bring people together, create connection, and support good mental health in the community.

These catch ups are open to veterans, first responders, healthcare workers, their families, and anyone in the local community who could benefit from a friendly chat and a supportive space.

There’s no pressure, no cost, and no agenda. Just real people, sharing time, enjoying a coffee, and building genuine connections.

The aim of the catch ups is to:
• Create a safe, casual space where people feel comfortable to talk, listen and connect
• Reduce social isolation by offering a regular, low-key community touchpoint
• Strengthen belonging and community resilience
• Offer informal wellbeing support and information when needed
• Give veterans and first responders a place where they feel understood and supported
• Provide a gentle entry point into the broader Mindful Mates programs and supports

The Coffee Catch Ups aren’t therapy. They’re simply a consistent community hang-out where people can show up exactly as they are. Some come for connection, some come for routine, and some come because it feels good to be around others who “get it”.

Anyone is welcome to attend. You can stay for ten minutes or the whole hour. Bring a mate, bring your kids, or just bring yourself.

Mindful Mates exists to build stronger, healthier communities through genuine connection and practical support. These Coffee Catch Ups are one of the simplest and most meaningful ways we can do that.
